Fraser Thomson

Player – Senior Flag

Broncos – #20

Club Head Coach 2018 –

2010 – Present

In 2022 Fraser will be playing with the Grangemouth Broncos in the BAFA Premier North

In 2019 Fraser was a member of the Broncos team who were 2 points from the Britbowl final. They ended their league season fourth place in the UK.

In 2018 at Big Bowl XII in Germany Fraser tore his achilles. As 2019 approaches, the aim is for him to be fit to play in this year’s Big Bowl competition and hopefully play with the Broncos in the last few league games.

Fraser first started playing flag in 2000 with the Grangemouth Broncos Cadets at the age of 6. While he has dabbled in Football (soccer) and full contact American Football (5-on-5 and 11-man) he has always made it clear Flag is his first choice.

While Fraser only started playing Senior Flag in 2010, he had been playing in adult social games for years before that. Since 2010 though, he has become a significant part of the team, and now starts in most games. Over the years he has played most positions, but probably considers himself to be a defensive safety first.
