BAFA League Season Starts 19th June

The BAFA League season is due to start on the 19th of June.
After more than a year of no games, the club are itching to get back into action.
Saturday 17th of June will see the Club hosting the Inverclyde Comets and the Renfrewshire Raptors.
In a change to the past two years, because of Covid, there will be no “Premier and Div 1” leagues, the Scottish teams have all been place in the one League and will play each team once. A ten game season.
In the first fixture the Broncos and Colts will play both the Comets and the Raptors.
The Comets team has been revamped since they last played in the BAFA Leagues in 2019. They have added one or two names who will be recognisable to people who remember the Kirkcaldy Bulls. That will make for some fascinating games during the season.
The Raptors were on a definite upward trend when Covid forced the Flag world into hybernation. If they have continued that improvement during lockdown, they too will be tough to beat.
Much interest awaits the announcement of the Broncos and Colts squads for the coming campaign.
