CHARLIE EWING – INDUCTED INTO THE BRONCOS HALL OF FAME – 2006

Charlie was the first coach of the Cadets and Junior teams when the Club moved back to Grangemouth. He oversaw the expansion of the club as it grew from one single Junior/Youth squad to four separate teams, one in each age-band.
Charlie was also the driving force behind the creation and expansion of the Scottish Development Squad(SDS) which generated the Scotland teams at Cadet, Junior and Youth level to play internationals against the Home Nations.
From SDS, Charlie then went on to coach successfully with Great Britain.
Charlie also represented the Club on the SGA and SFFA Committees

Coaching – Great Britain
Appointed to Head Coach with the GB LIONS – July 2005 preparing the GB Lions for a trip to the
2005 Junior European Championships (Canary Isles, Spain) in September.

Coaching – Scotland
Appointed as Head Coach of the re-structured SDS for the 2003 Season, responsible for all aspects of SDS Front Office and Head Coach of the SDS Cadet Players.

Coaching – Club Level
Voted SFFA Junior Coach of the Year for the 2005 Season. As SFFA Junior Coach of the Year, Charlie took charge of the North/East Junior Conference team at 2005 MVP Bowl (which they won).
