The Club is always on the lookout for New Members, in a variety of roles
Anyone aged 9 and over can get involved as players.
Ages 9 – 17 can get involved in our Colts-11s, Colts-14s and Colts-17s teams.
Ages 16 and over can get involved in our Adult Mixed and Ladies teams.
Come along to one of our practice sessions and talk to the coaches and players, Find out why they enjoy the game so much. Bring your sports kit and get involved. We practice most Saturday mornings (unless there are games or international commitments) from 10:00 until 12:30 at Zetland Park, Grangemouth. Monday evenings are from 18:45 until 20:15, at Zetland park in the summer months (while the light lasts) or at Braes High School during the winter.
If you would like to get involved as a coach, our Club has an excellent track record at getting people up to speed with the game and most of it’s nuances. Come and talk to our existing coaches and find out how you could benefit the club.
Non-playing members have loads of opportunities within the Club.
Practicing Members –
Some people just want to be involved in the game, but are not interested in playing in games or tournaments. It is a good way to keep fit in a fun environment.
Game Day Management –
There is always a need for people to help out, particularly on game days. There are many people who may be interested in the game, but have no interest in playing. If anyone has an interest in any of the jobs needed on practice and game days, Statisticians, Score Keepers, First Aiders, Organisers, Videographers, Photographers, we would love to hear from you. If we could get non-playing members doing any of these jobs it would allow our players to stay focussed on the field of play.
Our games cannot function without referees. It may not seem like a job many people want, but there is a lot of respect in American Football for good referees. The rules are not as complicated as they might appear, and our Club can get you up to speed in a very short space of time.
