Broncos Rack Up the Miles

This weekend, Fraser Thomson, Callum Woods and Kevin Woods will be in the Hague competing at the Pink Bowl Tournament. This is one of the biggest tournaments in Europe, on around the same scale as Big Bowl. Fraser, playing with the London Barbarians, and Callum and Kevin playing with the Carluke Cobras are likely to face at least a few of the teams they encountered at Big Bowl.

Meanwhile, a Broncos development team will be travelling to the Nuola Indian Summer Tournament in Doncaster. The Broncos have the Sheffield Vipers, Chorley Buccaneers and Wigan Bandits in their group, so some tough games ahead.
As with the Forth Bowl, the emphasis is on getting game time for players who will potentially be playing in the Colts team in 2018.
The club wishes everyone a good weekend.

As a consequence of this weekend’s tournaments, there will be no Broncos practice. Next practice 7th October at Whitecross.
