The Broncos start their 2016 league campaign on Sunday (10th April) with three HNC South games in Edinburgh. The venue is Inch Park Community Sports Club, 227 Gilmerton Road, Edinburgh EH16 5UD, and the first kick off is 11:00.
In the first game, the Broncos play the West Lothian Chargers (formerly the Astros). The Chargers have made at least one addition to their squad from last year, former Broncos player Anton Atkins.
The Broncos then referee the second match between the Chargers and the home team the Edinburgh Outlaws. That game is likely to start at 12:00.
The third fixture, at around 13:00, will see the Broncos take on one of the three Carnegie teams in the league this year, the Thunder. The Thunder are a new team to the league and have a former Bronco as their player/coach, Josh Keir.
The Broncos final game of the day will be next at around 14:00 when they play the Outlaws. And guess what! The Outlaws too have added a former Bronco to their squad, Paul Fleming.
The Broncos are not quite finished yet as they will be refereeing the final game of the day as the Outlaws take on the Thunder at around 15:00.
A long day of football, with some tough opposition to start the new season as the Broncos hope to keep up the momentum of the past two seasons. With a bit of luck and a lot of hard work they hope to get at least one step further than British Quarter-Finals.
