After Success of Mid-Week Session all Eyes turn to Gameday 3

After a very successful development game at Wednesday practice, the Broncos must now focus on their three league games this weekend.
The mid-week game with the Carnegie Steelers/Renegades proved to be a useful session for both clubs. Carnegie used the work out to give QB Fraser Reid some game time with a bit less pressure. The Broncos got to watch some of our development people in real game time. They also got to give Ryan Scullion a run out in his first encounter with Flag Football. He has a lot to learn, but showed he could have the capability. While there were starters involved on the field, all eyes were on the development players to see how they coped. The coaches will be going over the game film to give feedback on performance.
Tomorrow, 6th of May, the Broncos will be travelling to Dunfermline for their third game day of the 2017 season. After 5 wins out of f5 so far, the Broncos need to keep the momentum going.
Each of their opponents will present different problems to be overcome. Lets hope the team are up to the task.
The first game, due to kick off at 10:00 at Duloch Leisure Centre (KY11 8LW), will be against our old rivals the Edinburgh Outlaws. The Outlaws will be hoping to replicate their form against the Hornets, where they so nearly pulled off an upset. The Broncos will be looking to continue their recent run of form against the Edinburgh team.
On the other pitch the Sabers will be looking for their first win and the Steelers will be hoping for a win to take them ahead of the Dragons in the HNC Central.
The second game will see the Broncos take on one of the new teams, the Clyde Comets. With GB Lion Bud McFerrin in the team, the Broncos will have to be on their toes. But with GB Lions of their own the Broncos will hope to keep the Comets from touching down.
On the second pitch the Steelers will play the Hornets. The Steelers will need to be on top form to hold out the Hornets prolific offence.
Those games are scheduled for 11:15.
In the third set of matches, the Broncos will be refereeing, while the Sabers take on the Hornets and the Comets play the Outlaws.
The final pair of games, likely to kick off around 13:45 will see the Outlaws play the Steelers, and the Broncos play the Sabers.
With the Sabers still winless in the league, and the Broncos 5 and 0, before the day starts, the odds should be in the Broncos favour.
The Broncos would love to welcome our spectators. If you don’t know anyone in the team, please come and introduce yourself to our club chairman, Jimmy Thomson (number 46).
