Broncos Get The Job Done

6th May – Game Day 3 at Carnegie – Playing Outlaws, Comets and Sabers
At the end of the days play, Division Champions for the fourth year in a row.
Two schools of thought on how the day went.
1. We didn’t as a team have our best day (apart from one obvious stand-out)
2. The opposition were stoked for the game against us.
Regardless, 3 wins on a day we were under pressure was a great result.
Broncos 39 – Outlaws 20 – Scorers Liam Fleming two recieving TDs, Callum Woods two receiving TDs and two XPs, Andy Brown 1 recieving TD, a rare running TD and one XP, Scott McKenzie (did I say rare) running TD. Scott threw all of the passing scores.
one interception each for Liam Fleming and Mark Wallace.
Broncos 26 – Comets 18 – Scorers Liam Fleming 1 receiving TD and one pick 6, Callum Woods 1 receiving TD and 1 XP, Andy Brown 1 XP and Scott McKenzie 1 (yes, I did say rare) running TD, Scott thre all receiving points. Liam Fleming 2 Interceptions.
Broncos 39 – Sabers 13 – Scorers Liam Fleming 2 TDs, Andy Brown 3 TDs, David Mooney 1 TD, Jimmy Thomson 1 XP, Mark Wallace 1 XP and Reece Johnston 1 XP.
Scott McKenzie threw all the recieving scores apart from Fraser’s throw to Stonehands for the TD.
Fraser 1 Interception and Joe McIlwaine 2 interceptions.
And, just to cap the day off, the Head Coach got the remainder of the water to celebrate the division win. (Unfortunately, it was a warm day so little remained of the water!)
