Broncos Fall Short of Target

On Saturday the Broncos traveled to Glasgow for the Northern Regional Finals as second place in Scotland and fourth seeds overall. So it was with some optimism that they targeted a place at the National Finals later this month.
After a promising start, with a 66 – 13 win over the Leeds Samurai the Broncos faced old rivals Aberdeen Oilcats. After going behind by two scores early in that match the Broncos failed to get themselves back into the game. The Broncos continued to pressure Aberdeen right up to the final whistle, but the Oilcats progressed with a 33 – 12 scoreline.
The Broncos would like to thank all of their supporters who braved the elements to cheer the team on. In addition they would like to thank everyone who attended our games throughout the regular season. Their support is much appreciated.
As promised, here are some of the details from the games on Saturday:-
