Northern Regional Finals

This coming Saturday, 5th of August, the Broncos will be playing in the Northern Regional Finals. At stake are two places at the National Finals.
There will be twelve teams taking part this weekend. The three division winners and the three runners-up from the HNC and MEC.
The first round games will begin at 12:30 at Crownpoint Sports Complex, Crownpoint, Glasgow. Entry to the event is free. It would be great to see some of the Broncos supporters there cheering on the team.
(Please be aware that Celtic have an early kick-off for the start of the Premier League season, so that area of Glasgow will be busy. Get there early!)
The Broncos as second place in the HNC will play against the lowest seeds from the MEC. That is the Leeds Samurai. Leeds have had an up and down season finishing with a losing season. However, the Broncos cannot afford to get complacent if they are to progress to the next round.
One thing to note is that if the seedings work out, the Broncos must beat the Oilcats in the second round and the Hornets in the third round.
The Broncos will have all their starters available for Saturday, it is in the back-ups that the Broncos are a little light. Injury, holiday and work commitments mean that some of the Broncos most productive replacements are unavailable. That leaves the door open for others to step up their game.
