The Club would like to wish the Great Britain Lions all the best at the European Championships this coming weekend in Denmark. Especially, the three Broncos players travelling with the team.
Initially, Callum and Kevin Woods were selected for the tournament in Copenhagen, but Kevin was injured at the end of the season. That allowed Fraser Thomson back into the GB Gold Lions team after a year out.
The Lions will play:-
The hosts, Denmark, who were runners-up at Last years World Championships.
Israel who always have a strong team.
Sweden who have been gaining a lot of experience with their travels to multiple tournaments over the last year or so.
Norway who have restarted their Flag program recently. With a strong Tackle culture, their Flag team is likely to be strong and physical, but will their Flag experience be up to the sophistication of some of the other teams.
